Christmas | Home

This Christmas, I decided to be a lot more prepared than I was for last Christmas. I did my research and came up with a humble list of presents I would be more than happy to receive (Which I emailed to my mom at 1 am because what else am I doing at 1 am?). I have to say, I am super thankful and beyond happy with the gifts I got this year. I'll start with my wishlist then I'll show you guys a couple of the other things my mom surprised me with!

Wishlist
- LAHearts (not available) & Me To Shirt
(I got it in black but it is only available in mauve now)
And plot twist: My amazing mom actually got me everything on my list! (Thanks mommy!)

And then to add to my happiness she surprised me with a refurbished Canon that is absolutely amazing which I cannot wait to take pictures for the blog with! She also accidentally ordered the wrong color MAC lipstick at first so she ended up giving me two. I can't remember the exact name of the color right now but it's a red-ish pink (so cute). Also, a macaron making set!!! So excited about that, hopefully I can make them taste just as good as Laudreè but probably not.
This Christmas was honestly so nice and just reminded me of how blessed I am to have the family that I have. I love them so much. I hope all of your holidays were filled with joy and love.
*Disclaimer: None of this is meant to be taken
as bragging. This post is just because I know
how fun it is to be nosy and to see what other people
got for Christmas. I am very grateful for my family and
the gifts I received this Christmas.
Also my brother and my mom and I thought it would be hysterical to buy the whole family onesies so we could open our presents and spend Christmas morning in them together. So enjoy this nice picture of my brother and I in our onesies...

Happy Holidays!

Burrito Saturday | Part 2

This has become sort of a tradition...my roommates and I planned to start going to this Mexican restaurant called Blockheads every Saturday that we are able to drag our sorry (most likely hungover) butts to the city. This Saturday we also decided that in the spirit of the upcoming holiday season, we should try and make our way to Rockefeller Center to see the big tree they decorate every year. Don't get me wrong, I hate Times Square and generally any other touristy area in NYC just as much as the next person but I cannot help myself when it comes to Christmas. If you've ever heard the saying "there's nothing like Christmas in New York" that's because it is 100% true - there is nothing like Christmas in New York. Last night, I went to see the tree for the second time and this time I caught the Saks building light show, it was amazing. So after we stuffed ourselves with $9 burritos and margaritas  (shoutout to our waiter Dexter who bought us some after the first round ps- we still need to find him a Christmas present girls) we headed down to Rockefeller Center. Tara also brought her Sony Cybershot HD and we took a few pictures while walking around the city.

*Thanks to Tara for taking these pictures!*
Sadly, next week marks the beginning of finals week so I most likely
won't be updating my blog for a little bit. I'll be home for 5 weeks so
there won't be much content to fill my blog with. Tonight is the
Victoria Secret Fashion Show and I am most definitely posting
about my favorite looks sometime this week. Maybe I'll do a what
I got for Christmas post? Not sure yet. I'll keep everyone updated!

Fika

So guys this is my last overload post! A couple days ago, my roommates and I wanted to check out this coffee place called Fika. Fika is a swedish coffee company known for their delicious coffee and their signature chokladboll, which is a swedish pastry. They were AMAZING. I didn't take any pictures because I was too excited and devoured it in a matter of seconds. (Hey there just little tiny balls, ok?) But we did happen to take pictures of our outfits...

Can I get this tattooed on my forehead?

Sweater: Forever 21

Galli | Soho Slumpin

So this is an exciting post...I met Hailey Baldwin. She is a total babe. She was nice although we didn't really have a chance to talk to her since she was finishing her meal at her rumored favorite restaurant in Soho, Galli. She was leaving and I had to stop her because she has been a huge fashion influence for me. She rocks so many different looks and I love that about her.
Don't mind my (too happy) face
Inside Galli, delicious food btw! I got the Penne Al Vodka.
My roomie looking fierce AF in Topshop.
Peep her cute shoes!!
Add me on snapchat for more sarcasm - meest
B&W
Shoe game strong?
Shoes: Steve Madden
Also, really quick - lets talk about shoes, baby. (Bad song reference?) These bad boys only cost my $40 from Aldo! I had my eye on them for SOooo long and they finally went on sale! They were originally $90. To be honest, they're not horribly uncomfortable, but they're definitely not my first shoe choice. I can wear these for about 3 hours until my feet start to regret my choice in footwear.
And I leave you off with a picture of me and all my beautiful roommates from our first night together!

29 Rooms | Refinery 29

If you have heard of the company Refinery29, I'm sure you are just as in love with everything they do just like I am. In one of my posts from last year, I actually was given the opportunity to attend their Pop up store at Woodbury Commons called the Shopping Block. This company is always thinking of creative ways to bring lovers of fashion and blogging together at events. My roommates and I heard about 29Rooms from an article in the beginning of Fashion Week. We trucked our butts all the way to Brooklyn to see this exhibit and man was it worth it! It was the coolest thing I've ever seen. Pictures do not do it justice. It was basically an Instagrammer's dream. Each room was created by a different designer. We walked through every single room and I was amazed more by the next one.
Jena's outfit this day was insane. She had just gotten her Nike
Huaraches and was dying to style them. She rocked this look. She
pair her kicks with tailored cigarette pants, a turtleneck crop
top and a smart coat all from Topshop.
(Hey Jackie!!!)
This room was my favorite!!!!! I could barely take any pictures
because I was in awe the entire time. If you want to see
better pictures of this room just google it. This room was designed
by Petra Collins. She did an amazing job! I was in bathroom heaven.
* Tyra Banks took almost the exact same picture!!
A room full of bean bags with my roomie...what could be better?
This room was filled with 3D clouds...I'm pretty sure this
is where Drake got the inspiration for
his Nothing Was The Same Album cover.
I wish you all could have had the chance to visit but
unfortunately this project only lasted for a week! It was
an experience I will never forget.

Back To Back | Blogging Probs

Hey Guys! Sorry it's been so long since my last post- almost a full year! I'm definitely going to continue to update my blog. I have SO many pictures to show you guys from the past year. A lot has been going on. I am going to separate my photos into different posts so get ready for rapid posts. Also, quick update: I'm almost finished my first half of sophomore year at college! A week until finals. Cross your fingers for me! For starters, I will just post some random pictures that I really wanted to share with you guys. I know you are all probably wondering what I've managed to stock up on my camera roll so without further ado here you go...
One day trying out future outfits- this one felt very French inspired...I decided that when and IF I do get the opportunity to go to Paris, I WILL wear this outfit there one day! A LBD, trench coat and over the knee suede black boots? Yes, pleaseeeeeee
BUT seriously, how cute is this apartment setup I saw in a window in Soho?
Bought this coat in the spring from H&M (Got it on Sale too)
This coat is adorable and such a nice change from my always black ensemble.
I guess you can tell I adore my Nike ID's.
Some snapchat outfit from the warmer days...
