Dinner lovin' | College livin'

I'm guessing it's pretty obvious to see that I haven't been on my blogging game. These past 4 months have been the craziest, most memorable months of my life. Between graduating high school, prom, going on my senior trip, and now beginning a whole new life at college, I haven't found the time to worry about my blog or anything fashion related either. As you may or may not know from my tumblr, I was set on going to FIT (Fashion Institute of Technology) in New York City. In the spring, I received an acceptance letter from Manhattan College, where my brother attended and just recently graduated from, and from FIT. I was on vacation in Puerto Rico when I received an email telling me I had gotten accepted to FIT. While I was in Puerto Rico, of course, it happened to be their fashion week. I was invited to a fashion show which I excitably accepted. I attended and unexpectedly didn't have that much fun. Sure, it was an amazing experience and the designs were phenomenal. However, it made me realize that I wasn't ready to be in the fashion world.  My reaction to my acceptance letter also had a huge impact on me. I cried for no apparent reason when I was accepted into Manhattan and I just kinda smiled when I got into FIT. I'm so happy with my decision. Although, FIT is an amazing school, I think Manhattan is the perfect fit for me. I start school August 25th, so soon! I move in next Thursday and I'm super excited! My roommate could not be any more perfect. I made some really good friends at orientation as well so hopefully I'll be seeing them soon!

Enough about college life, onto fashion updates!...After seeing the Luana Top from Brandy Melville on my super fashionable friend Kaitlyn (The Layered Lineup) I decided I needed it. I was so nervous about it being too short on me but me and Kaitlyn are around the same height so it was just about the same length. I'm so in love with it. It's such a light material and it's flattering as much as T-shirt dress could be flattering. I've worn in twice since I've gotten it last week and I've gotten so many compliments on it already. I wore it to dinner for the first time with my best friend and we snapped some pics in the bathroom so you guys could see how I styled it.
Shirt/Dress: Brandy Melville (Luana Top)
Shoes: Wild Diva Shoes
Bag: Zara
I decided to pair this dress with my new favorite
bag from Zara, the Mini City bag. It's my
new best friend. Here's a close up pic:
My best friend and I just had some drinks and ordered a Nutella pizza for dessert. It was heavenly. We ate outside since it was a beautiful summer night and the place we ate was right on the water. Sorry for my lack of outfits/posts recently. I'm gonna try harder to update this blog because everyone who reads it means so much to me! <3
Goodbye until next time....I will leave you with a sunset picture of our dinner view.

Thanks for reading guys!

Daily Look Mini Structured Handbag | Review

You all may or may not have heard of an amazing brand called Céline. They are famous for their very structured, very expensive handbags. This bag (shown above) is from a store called DailyLook. This bag looks like an exact replica of the Céline nano. Compared to the nano which is 2,400$ roughly, this bag was only 45$! Surprisingly, the quality of this bag is pretty good. It's sturdy and the leather definitely doesn't look cheap. This bag comes with a detachable shoulder strap which can be made longer or shorter to fit your standards. The gold hardware is really sharp looking against the black pebbled faux leather. The inside is also a decent size for such a small bag. I can carry all my daily essentials inside. For example, my phone, headphones, my makeup bag, wallet, and if I'm wanted my mini polaroid camera. It has one medium sized pocket on the inside for things such as cellphones, daily planners etc. On the outside of the bag, you can either have the flaps folded in (refer to picture 2) or have them out (pictures 1 and 3.) Overall, I am absolutely in love with this bag and would 100% buy in again in a different color. This bag comes in a Cobalt blue (obsessed with it), red, black (shown above), black and white, and brown and black. Personally, I think all the colors are gorgeous. If you're looking for a replica of the larger Cèline bag, DailyLook also sells the "Large Structured Handbag" for only 65$! If you need to stuff everything you own into a large bag, I would totally suggest you purchase that bag. I think if your still a student paying for school and other things, this bag is an amazing alternative for a Céline nano. DailyLook also has other inspired handbags from major designers such as Alexander Wang, Chanel etc. Take a look: DailyLook.com
