1 down | 7 to go

So guys, I don't even know where to start. I am possibly the worst blogger in blogging history. I have no time to keep up with it and I have no inspiration. I'm super busy between school and having a social life. I would love love to update this blog constantly with outfit pictures and updates but I am way too lazy. Also, I have absolutely no one to take my outfit pictures. Maybe in the spring when the weather in NY is nicer and friendlier, I will attempt to go outside. As for my new life at college, let me tell you, always always dorm at your school if financially possible. It is the best experience. I love living on my own with my now best friends as roommates. I have an amazing life at school and I couldn't ask for a better circle of people to call my best friends. My two roommates, to be exact, are perfect. They're into all the fashion and other girly stuff like I am. We bonded over wine our first night together and I was theirs ever since. Studying communications at a school such as Manhattan is something special. It's right in the Bronx (I know its called Manhattan but it's not actually in Manhattan.) Anyways, I can step out my door and take the 1 train straight into the city. I love the location of Riverdale which is where my campus is. It's neighborhoody but still has a city feel. I've been on winter break since December 14th and oh my god am I ready to go back. I leave home a week from tomorrow and I could not be happier. Don't get me wrong, I love my family and friends but when you move out and experience living alone, MAN do you never want to move back in with your parents. I really haven't had anything crazy fashion pictures taken lately but I want to let you guys into my life so I shall share a bunch of photos I've taken over my first semester. Enjoy!

Dinner lovin' | College livin'

I'm guessing it's pretty obvious to see that I haven't been on my blogging game. These past 4 months have been the craziest, most memorable months of my life. Between graduating high school, prom, going on my senior trip, and now beginning a whole new life at college, I haven't found the time to worry about my blog or anything fashion related either. As you may or may not know from my tumblr, I was set on going to FIT (Fashion Institute of Technology) in New York City. In the spring, I received an acceptance letter from Manhattan College, where my brother attended and just recently graduated from, and from FIT. I was on vacation in Puerto Rico when I received an email telling me I had gotten accepted to FIT. While I was in Puerto Rico, of course, it happened to be their fashion week. I was invited to a fashion show which I excitably accepted. I attended and unexpectedly didn't have that much fun. Sure, it was an amazing experience and the designs were phenomenal. However, it made me realize that I wasn't ready to be in the fashion world.  My reaction to my acceptance letter also had a huge impact on me. I cried for no apparent reason when I was accepted into Manhattan and I just kinda smiled when I got into FIT. I'm so happy with my decision. Although, FIT is an amazing school, I think Manhattan is the perfect fit for me. I start school August 25th, so soon! I move in next Thursday and I'm super excited! My roommate could not be any more perfect. I made some really good friends at orientation as well so hopefully I'll be seeing them soon!

Enough about college life, onto fashion updates!...After seeing the Luana Top from Brandy Melville on my super fashionable friend Kaitlyn (The Layered Lineup) I decided I needed it. I was so nervous about it being too short on me but me and Kaitlyn are around the same height so it was just about the same length. I'm so in love with it. It's such a light material and it's flattering as much as T-shirt dress could be flattering. I've worn in twice since I've gotten it last week and I've gotten so many compliments on it already. I wore it to dinner for the first time with my best friend and we snapped some pics in the bathroom so you guys could see how I styled it.
Shirt/Dress: Brandy Melville (Luana Top)
Shoes: Wild Diva Shoes
Bag: Zara
I decided to pair this dress with my new favorite
bag from Zara, the Mini City bag. It's my
new best friend. Here's a close up pic:
My best friend and I just had some drinks and ordered a Nutella pizza for dessert. It was heavenly. We ate outside since it was a beautiful summer night and the place we ate was right on the water. Sorry for my lack of outfits/posts recently. I'm gonna try harder to update this blog because everyone who reads it means so much to me! <3
Goodbye until next time....I will leave you with a sunset picture of our dinner view.

Thanks for reading guys!
